2022 is the British Cardiovascular Society's Centenary year! Celebrating 100 years and being the longest established professional cardiac society in the world, there is an exciting programme of events to look out for this year including:
- Centenary special issue of Heart and accompanying podcast
- 100 years of cardiology programme at the BCS Annual Conference 2022
- The BCS Digital Museum: a new online resource of the Museum Archives and Historical Collection located at BCS Headquarters
- 100 Voices: a series of recorded oral histories to be made available as podcasts and soundbites
- Centenary lectures: keynote lectures aimed at highlighting the heritage and history of the BCS and significant developments of cardiovascular care as well as looking ahead to the future
